Marketing for therapists, built with care.

This is the CairnsCom marketing service for therapy and mental health practices. I am Tom Cairns. Marketing, systems, and intake for therapy and mental health practices, built HIPAA-aware from inside a real clinical practice. You reach the right clients with sensitivity, and grow sustainably.

Clinical practices have needs most marketers are not equipped to handle.

Clinical sensitivity, HIPAA, complex technology, and the ethics of speaking to people who are reaching out for help. I built the HIPAA-aware marketing, the intake, and the systems for North Texas DBT Associates from the inside, so I know what a practice actually needs to grow without compromising care. This is not a template borrowed from a different kind of business.
THE REAL DIFFERENCE

BUILT FROM THE INSIDE

I built a DBT practice's growth engine myself.

For North Texas DBT Associates I built the HIPAA-aware backbone, the intake, and the marketing from the inside, not as an outside vendor. That work put the practice on page one, in positions three to six, for the terms that matter most to it, lifted organic search visits by 38% against its first tracked quarter and 17% year on year, and opened a new stream of visits referred by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, all on a modest budget.
It also means I am realistic about what a practice can take on. I will only ever quote a figure for your practice that I can verify in your own analytics, and I will tell you plainly what is worth doing first.
COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions from practice owners, answered plainly.

Do you understand HIPAA and clinical marketing?

Yes. I built the HIPAA-aware marketing, systems, and intake for a real DBT practice from the inside, so I understand the compliance, the clinical sensitivity, and the ethics of speaking to people who are reaching out for help.

How do you handle intake?

I design intake journeys for people who are anxious and often reaching out for the first time: clear, calm next steps, fast response, and a process that respects privacy at every stage.

Do you only work with practices in Texas?

No. My deepest healthcare work is with a Dallas practice, but I work with therapy and mental health practices across the US, UK, and EU, led remotely with the same care and accountability. Local search is tuned to wherever your clients actually are, whether that is one city or telehealth across several states.

What results can a practice expect?

Honest ones, tied to inquiries and booked clients rather than vanity metrics. The work I led for a DBT practice in Dallas put it on page one, in positions three to six, for the terms that matter most to it, lifted organic search visits by 38% against its first tracked quarter and 17% year on year, and opened a new stream of visits referred by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, all on a modest budget. I will only ever quote a figure for your practice that I can verify in your own analytics. If you want one operator across the whole engine rather than a single service, start with business consulting for growing businesses; if being found is the gap, start with online visibility.

What does marketing for a therapy practice cost?

A monthly retainer scaled to the work, not a salary, or a fixed price for a defined project such as a website or an intake rebuild. I share the figure after a short call, once I know the practice and what actually needs doing. Most engagements start with the one or two things that will move the needle first, so you are never sold work you do not need.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PRACTICE

Grow your practice without losing the care.

A thirty minute call is enough to see where the right clients are slipping away and what it would take to reach more of them, sensitively.
