COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions founders ask me, answered plainly.
What does go-to-market mean for a startup?
It is the plan for how you reach buyers, win them, and grow: who you are for, the problem you solve, the channels you use, the sales motion, and the systems behind it. For a startup it is the difference between traction and stalling.
Do I need a full-time marketing hire as a startup?
Usually not. Most early companies need senior judgment to set direction and build the first engine, not a full-time executive salary. A fractional model gives you the experience without the overhead until you are ready to hire.
Can you build sales as well as marketing?
Yes. I have built SDR teams and pipeline from scratch, so I can set up the sales motion alongside the marketing, which is what most startups actually need.
How early can we start?
As soon as you have something real to take to market. The earlier the positioning and engine are built properly, the less you waste on tactics that were never going to work.
What does startup marketing cost?
A monthly retainer scaled to the work, not a salary, or a fixed price for a defined project. I share the figure after a short call, once I know what actually needs doing. Most startups start with the one or two things that will move the needle first, so you are never sold work you do not need.
